Some tents have more room for people than the manufacturer has specified. 45 to 50 cm it is minimum fro one person, 60 cm is normal (you can lie without touching each other with elbows). More centimeters it’s profusion. And don’t forget it is absolutely warmer in a smaller tent where sleeping three or four tourists then in a bigger “comfort” one for two persons.
You should also have space for clothing and equipment, and space to stand up without walking on your tentmate. A good tent has two inputs that make it easier to be aired and you can get in and out without disturbing your neighbors.
Pay attention if windows and door of your tent has mosquito nets, usually they are like an inner layer and fasten by lightning. Buy the way, Test all zippers, that they can be freely opened and closed, and do not catch and bind up on the tent fabric.
Take care if your tent has a proper ventilation system: airholes on sides or in the top. But for sure even in a very expensive tent it will not completely relives of moisture and condensate. So you need to dry your tent as well as sleeping bags from time to time. It is advisable to sleep a head to ventilation or an input; this will reduce formation of a condensate and will raise fresh air inflow to your organism.
