Innsbruck is not only the top destination for alpine skiers. A lot of well-groomed trails are waiting for cross-country skiers and ski hikers. Winter hiking offers a fun way to see the area’s scenery and in the areas surrounding Innsbruck hikers will find at least 96 kilometers of trails.

You will find everything: public skating, ice hockey, bobsleighing, figure skating, etc. at Olympia World Innsbruck. You can take a ride on the Olympic bobsleigh, tobogganing and skeleton run. On the 1270m-long run with 14 curves and a vertical drop of 124m you will definitely get a rush of adrenaline.

    Hi. a couple from norway wanders about downhill for interm skiers around innsbruck. we fly to innsbruck 6th feb and stay till 10th. i have tried to find hotel in resorts like st anton and ischgl, mostly because they are well known resorts. anyone know of alpine possibilities closer to innsbruck. best regards sverre
