Ontario: Lappe Nordic Centre
Norwegian Riviera is on the Lake Ontario’s north shore but the “The Finnish Hamptons” is Ontario’s south shore. The center for cross-country skiing is the Lappe Nordic Centre, just outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario. A third of its trails are lighted for night skiing until 10:30pm.

Quebec Canada: Mont-Saint-Anne
With over 223 kilometers of skiing trails near Quebec City, Mont-Sainte-Anne is where you would go for one of the most pleasant skiing experiences you can get. There are beginner, intermediate, and expert trails. You will also find warming huts, which you can use for warm ups from the ski chill.

New Hampshire: Jackson Ski Touring
New Englandy Jackson, New Hampshire, has 154 kilometers open to skating, classic, snowshoe, and backcountry skiing. Ski trails are everywhere: next to roads, covered bridges, and breaking off into the nearby White Mountain National Forest.

Vermont: Craftsbury Outdoor Center
The Craftsbury Outdoor Center in Vermont has a well placed reputation for snow. There are over 100 miles of snow trail, which can be used for any ski trek: classic, skating, backcountry, and snowshoe.

Vermont: Sleepy Hollow
Another great trail in Vermont is Sleepy Hollow. Molly’s Meadow and Sandy’s Slide are for beginners. Its trails will satisfy both classic and skating skiers. There are gentle fields, with rollicking connectors and sliding traverses.
For speed demons Dave’s Dive and Eli’s Escape will keep anyone satisfied.

Washington: Methow Valley
The Methow Valley Sports Trails Association has a trail system nearly 200 kilometers in size. It traverses three distinct cross-country ski areas, connects two towns, and riddles the entire valley with winter adventure.

Minnesota: Gunflint Trail
The “Norwegian Riviera” is Minnesota’s north shore of Lake Superior. There is a large network of cross-country ski trails. They extend north and west into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
The Gunflint Trail Association has lodges along this 60-mile stretch from Grand Marais, Minnesota, up County Road 12 and into the Sawtooth Mountains.

Colorado: Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort
Devil’s Thumb Colorado provides deep powder and sunny skies. It is located in the same high-mountain plateau as the Winter Park downhill ski area and just up the valley from Fraser, which is consider locally as the icebox of the nation.

Oregon: Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort
For summertime skiing this place is it. Yes that is not a mistake you can go skiing in the summer at Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort. The U.S. Cross-Country Ski and Winter Biathlon Teams train during May and June.
